About us

About BestofSFL

BestofSFL is South Florida's digital magazine and local business directory — the pulse of South Florida. We cover what opened, what is worth the money, what is happening this weekend, and the businesses locals actually recommend, across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

How we pick

"Best of" is a claim, and every guide, pick, and business feature on this site has to earn it: verified details, real photos of the real place, and honest opinions. We re-check our evergreen guides periodically and retire businesses that have closed. If a listing is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Who publishes it

BestofSFL is edited and published by Carlos Vargas and is part of the SFL Media Group, a family of South Florida sites that includes SFL Date Ideas, SFL Today, SFL Cool Events, Pampered Visits, SFL Kid Guide, SFL Pet Visits, and The Miami Dirt.

For businesses

Run a South Florida business? You can list your business in the directory, claim an existing listing to correct its details, or ask about a featured placement. Paid features are always labeled as the business's own listing — our editorial picks are never for sale.
