BestofSFL ("we," "us") runs bestofsfl.com, a South Florida digital magazine and local business directory covering Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you submit a business listing, claim a listing, sign up for a paid feature, subscribe to our newsletter, or email us, we collect the details you provide — business name, contact name, email, phone, address, hours, and listing content.
Payment information. Payments for paid listings and bundles are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy policy.
Usage information. Like most websites, we collect standard log and analytics data — pages visited, approximate location (city/region), device and browser type, and referral source — to understand what readers use and to keep the site working.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site and measure traffic.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to count visits and understand which sections readers use. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device to measure that traffic. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual readers.
Essential cookies. Some cookies are needed for the site itself to work — for example, keeping a business owner signed in to their dashboard.
Embedded social content. Our homepage features our Instagram feed (@thebestofsfl). That embedded content comes from Instagram/Meta and may set its own cookies, under Meta's privacy policy rather than ours.
Your choices. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies directly in their settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading the site, though some features may work differently.

How we use information

To publish and maintain directory listings you submit.
To respond to your emails and correction requests.
To process paid listing and bundle payments and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal information. Business listing details you submit for public display (business name, address, phone, hours) are published as part of the listing — that is the point of a directory.

Affiliate and outbound links

Our pages link out to venues, ticketing services, businesses' own websites, and other partners. Some of those links are affiliate links. When you click one, you leave bestofsfl.com and land on the partner's site, where that site's privacy policy and cookies apply — we do not control them.

Your rights and contact

You can ask us to correct or remove your personal information or a business listing at any time — email us at moremiamicustomers@gmail.com and we will act on it promptly. We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version.
