Things to Do in South Florida This Weekend: October 30 – November 1, 2026
October 30, 2026 · By the BestofSFL team

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show fills the Bahia Mar and Las Olas marinas all weekend — the world's largest in-water boat show, and the biggest single draw of a stacked Halloween weekend.
Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, and South Florida is treating the whole weekend as the holiday. Friday opens with the world's largest in-water boat show in Fort Lauderdale and a three-night electronic festival in Miami. Saturday stacks free family Halloween in Coconut Grove and Boynton Beach against three of the year's biggest costume parties — Lincoln Road, Wynwood, and Wilton Manors — all on the same night. Sunday closes with an AFC East rivalry game in Miami Gardens and the final day of the boat show.
Below are nine verified picks for Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1, 2026, organized by day, with the full date, city, price, and official link for each one. Every date, time, and price was checked against an official organizer, venue, or ticketing page this week — still confirm before you head out, because Halloween-night events move fast. One honest note: LagoonFest in West Palm Beach, originally set for Saturday, has been cancelled over king-tide flooding concerns, so it is not on this list.

How we chose
Every pick had to clear the same bar: it happens on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday of this weekend — October 30, 31, or November 1, 2026 — in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach County, with a date, place, and price we could verify on an official organizer, venue, or ticketing page. We balanced the list on purpose: one all-weekend mega-show, one three-night festival, two free family festivals in Palm Beach County, one free early-evening family Halloween, three Halloween-night parties at three different energy levels, and a Sunday rivalry game. If an event could not be verified for this weekend, it did not make the guide — and one that was cancelled after announcing, LagoonFest, was taken off it.
Weekend pro tips
Buy FLIBS before you go. There is no box office at any boat-show site — tickets are online only, and Saturday is the busiest day. Pick one Halloween night, not three. Lincoln Road, HalloWYN, and Wicked Manors overlap almost exactly; each one is a full night on its own, and the drives between them on Halloween are the worst of the year. Families, front-load the day. Pirate Fest and the Card Expo start at noon and 10 a.m., Coconut Grove wraps at 8 p.m., and Lincoln Road's kids' window ends at 7:30 p.m. — the whole family Halloween is done before the adult parties begin. Sunday is the value day. FLIBS closes at 5 p.m., Pirate Fest is free until 6 p.m., and the Dolphins kick off at 4:25 p.m. — pick the water or the stadium, and confirm tickets before you head out.
